If you are driving a car, start by heading towards the main road (Jalan Raya Mataram) from your location in Lombok. Follow the road towards East Lombok, passing through the towns of Mataram and Praya. Continue on the road until you reach the junction for Tetebatu. Take the exit towards Tetebatu and follow the signs. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Tetebatu, look for signs guiding you to the Tetebatu Monkey Forest, located in Tetebatu Sikur.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Tetebatu Monkey Forest via public transportation, first, get to the nearest bus terminal in Mataram. From the terminal, take a bus heading towards Selong. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Tetebatu. The bus ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tetebatu, you may need to take a local bemo (shared minivan) or walk to the Tetebatu Monkey Forest which is approximately 1 km from the bus drop-off point.

Public Transportation (Bemo)
Alternatively, if you are already in the area of Selong or nearby, you can take a bemo directly to Tetebatu. Bemos are often available at local markets or bus terminals. The fare is usually around 20,000 IDR. The journey will take around 30 to 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Tetebatu, follow the signposts to reach the Monkey Forest, which is a short walk from the main bemo stop.

If you are already in Tetebatu, walking to the Monkey Forest is a pleasant option. The forest is located about 1 km from the town center. Head towards the main road, and follow the signs leading you to the forest area. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
