Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Jalan Raya Bukittinggi from Padang. Follow this road for about 70 km until you reach the area of Singgalang. The Lembah Anai Waterfall is conveniently located right beside the main road. Look for the sign that indicates the waterfall, and park your vehicle in the designated area. Remember that parking may incur a small fee, typically around IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Lembah Anai Waterfall using public transport, start at the Padang Bus Terminal (Terminal Alang-Alang Lebar). Look for buses heading to Bukittinggi. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. Inform the bus driver or conductor that you want to stop at Lembah Anai Waterfall. The cost of the bus ticket is usually around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance to the waterfall, which is easily accessible from the roadside.
Motorcycle Taxi (Ojek)
For a quicker option after reaching the nearest bus stop or if you're already in the vicinity but not directly at the waterfall, consider hiring a motorcycle taxi (ojek). You can find ojek drivers near bus stops or request one via ride-hailing apps like Gojek or Grab. The ride to Lembah Anai Waterfall should cost around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000 and will take about 10 to 15 minutes from nearby locations.
