If you are driving from Padang, West Sumatra, take the Padang - Bukittinggi road (Route 32) heading towards Bukittinggi. After approximately 90 km, continue on Route 32 until you reach the junction to Route 3 (Jalan Lintas Sumatera). Turn left onto Route 3 and follow signs towards Magelang. After about 200 km, you will reach Magelang. From Magelang, follow the signs to Borobudur Temple (about 30 minutes, 15 km). Parking is available near the entrance, and there is an entry fee of around IDR 50,000 per person.
