Getting there

Car

From Padang City, head to the west towards the coastline. Use the main road (Jalan Raya) and follow signs for Air Manis Beach. The drive should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Air Manis Beach, you will find parking available nearby. From the beach, take a small boat or fishing vessel to Pulau Pandan, which is a short trip across the water. Note that boat rides may have a small fee, typically around IDR 20,000-50,000 per person.

Public Transportation

From Padang City, you can take a local bus or angkot (minibus) towards the direction of Air Manis Beach. Buses are available from the central bus station and will cost around IDR 5,000-10,000. Once you arrive at Air Manis Beach, you can hire a local boat to Pulau Pandan. The boat fare will usually range from IDR 20,000-50,000 per person. Make sure to negotiate the price before getting on the boat.

Walking

If you are already at Air Manis Beach, you can simply walk to the beach area where boats are docked. The distance is short, and it is an easy walk while enjoying the coastal views. Ensure to check the boat schedules as they may vary throughout the day.
