Getting There

Car

If you are driving from Padang, head east on Jalan Jendral Sudirman towards Jalan Diponegoro. Continue on Jalan Jendral Sudirman for about 30 km until you reach the junction at Lubuk Basung. Turn left onto Jalan Raya Lubuk Basung and follow the signs towards Matur. After approximately 15 km, you will see signs directing you to Puncak Lawang. As you approach, follow the signs for Jl. Panorama Puncak. The drive offers beautiful views, so enjoy the scenery!
Public Transportation (Bus)

From the central bus terminal in Padang (Terminal Alang-Alang Lebar), take a bus heading to Bukittinggi. The fare is approximately IDR 30,000. Alight at the Bukittinggi terminal. From there, look for a minibus or angkot (local transport) heading to Matur. The fare should be around IDR 10,000. Inform the driver you want to go to Puncak Lawang. Once you reach the Matur area, it's about a 10-minute walk to Puncak Lawang, following the signs along Jl. Panorama Puncak.
