From Malioboro Street, walk to the nearest Trans Jogja bus stop, which is located at Malioboro 1. Take the Trans Jogja bus number 1A (the bus heading towards the Terminal Giwangan). After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Rejowinangun'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes; you will see signs directing you to Gembira Loka Zoo, which is the location of KEBON BINATANG.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops along Malioboro Street. Head south on Jalan Malioboro until you reach the intersection with Jalan Mangkuyudan.
