From Yogyakarta city center, head to the Jombor Bus Terminal. You can take a taxi or a local transport called 'angkot' to get there. Once at Jombor Bus Terminal, look for a bus heading towards Magelang. These buses are frequent, so you shouldn't have to wait long. After approximately 1 hour on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at Mendut Monastery. It is located near the main road and should be easy to spot. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards Jl. Mayor Kusen, and you will find the entrance to Mendut Buddhist Monastery.
