Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in the city center of Yogyakarta, head to the nearest Trans Jogja bus stop. You can take the bus number 1A or 1B heading to the terminal at Jombor. Once you arrive at Jombor, transfer to a small local minibus (angkot) heading to Cangkringan. Inform the driver that you are going to The Lost World Castle (Pura Taman Sari) and they will drop you off near the entrance. From the drop-off point, it's about a 10-minute walk to the site.

• Motorbike Taxi (Ojek)

  Use a motorbike taxi service like Gojek or Grab. Open the app, input 'The Lost World Castle' as your destination, and request a ride. The driver will pick you up from your location and take you directly to The Lost World Castle. The journey usually takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your starting point in Yogyakarta.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Yogyakarta. Make your way to Jl. Kaliurang and follow it north towards Cangkringan. The road is scenic, but be prepared for some uphill cycling as you approach the area. Once you reach Cangkringan, look for signs leading to The Lost World Castle. It should take you about 2-3 hours to reach your destination by bike.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to Cangkringan, you can choose to walk. Start from the center of Cangkringan and head towards Jl. Petung Merapi. Follow the road signs directing you towards The Lost World Castle. The walk can take around 1-1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water along.
