Half Day Keraton and Taman Sari Tour

Informative Tour

Very informative tour that covered a lot of ground. Our group of 4 (2 couples) met the guide and started on the 3 hour tour. It lasted a little bit longer than 3 hours and was very interesting. The Gamelan orchestra was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable but the whole 3 hours was constant walking and standing... in the heat and humidity that was exhausting. It would have been nicer if there had been a short break in between the Sultan's palace and the water garden instead of doing a coffee at the end of the tour. Or even a place to stand in the shade would have been helpful! Great experience but come wearing a hat or bring an umbrella to create your own shade and a water bottle is a must!

Absolutely wonderful ! This is such an easy way to go from Yogyakarta to Bali by doing stuff on the road and not by stressing out for hostel bookings and transports. I did this tour with my sister. go to Kotagede with lawang pethuk was an amazing cultural experience. The area is rich in history and offers a glimpse into traditional Javanese life. From exploring historical sites and traditional markets to meeting local artisans and local people, every part of the tour was interesting and enjoyable. Kotagede is a must-visit destination for anyone who wants to experience the authentic side of Yogyakarta
