Public Bus
From Yogyakarta city center, head to the nearest Trans Jogja bus stop. Take the bus number 1A towards Prambanan and get off at the Prambanan bus station. From there, you can take a local angkot (minivan) or a motorcycle taxi. If you choose the angkot, look for one heading to Klaten and ask to be dropped off at Sojiwan Temple. The temple is a short walk from the main road.
Motorcycle Taxi (Gojek or Grab)
Open the Gojek or Grab app on your phone and set your destination to Sojiwan Temple, Jl. Banjarsari No.12, Klaten. Your driver will pick you up at your current location. The ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the drop-off point with your driver to ensure you are taken right to the temple entrance.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Yogyakarta. Head out towards the east, following the main road towards Prambanan. Keep an eye on signs for Klaten. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach the Prambanan area, look for directions to Jl. Banjarsari. Sojiwan Temple is located nearby, just a short ride from the main road.
