If you are starting from the Iowa State University campus, head south on Lincoln Way. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with S University Blvd. Turn left (east) onto S University Blvd and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will find the World's Largest Concrete Gnome on your right at 1407 S University Blvd.
Biking
From downtown Ames, head south on Clark Avenue, which becomes S 16th Street. After about 0.8 miles, turn left onto Lincoln Way. Follow Lincoln Way for about 1 mile until you reach S University Blvd. Turn right and continue for about 0.5 miles; the gnome will be on your right at 1407 S University Blvd.

Take the CyRide bus from any Ames location. Board the Green Line (or the Red Line if the Green Line is not available). Ride until you reach the stop at S University Blvd & 15th St. From there, walk south on S University Blvd for about 0.2 miles. The World's Largest Concrete Gnome will be on your left at 1407 S University Blvd.
