If you are starting from downtown Ames, head south on Main Street toward 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Lincoln Way (Highway 30). Cross Lincoln Way and continue walking south on University Boulevard. Reiman Gardens will be on your right at 1407 University Blvd. It’s about a 20-minute walk from downtown.
Bicycle
For those with access to a bicycle, you can start from downtown Ames and head south on Main Street. After about 0.5 miles, take a right onto 5th Street and continue until it meets Lincoln Way. Turn left onto Lincoln Way and then right onto University Boulevard. Reiman Gardens will be located on your right at 1407 University Blvd. This route is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 10 minutes.
Public Transit
If you are near the CyRide bus stop, take the Red Line towards the Iowa State University campus. Get off at the University Blvd and 16th Street stop. From there, walk south on University Boulevard for about 0.3 miles. Reiman Gardens will be on your left at 1407 University Blvd. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes, and the walk will take an additional 5 minutes.
