Start at the Ankeny Market and Pavilion located at 410 W 1st St, Ankeny, IA. Head south on W 1st St for about half a mile until you reach S Ankeny Blvd. Turn left onto S Ankeny Blvd and walk for about 1 mile. You will then reach the intersection with E 1st St. Turn right onto E 1st St and continue straight until you reach the intersection with NE 54th Ave. Turn left on NE 54th Ave and walk about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with NE 29th St. Turn right on NE 29th St, and continue straight until you see the sign for Salisbury House & Gardens on your left.

From the Ankeny Market and Pavilion, walk to the nearest bus stop at 1st St and Ankeny Blvd. Take the DART bus Route 1 towards downtown Des Moines.
