    From the main entrance of Backbone State Park, drive on Backbone Road towards the west. After approximately 2.5 miles, turn right onto H7R9+FH. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Bird Observation Blind, which will be on your left. There is parking available nearby.

    If you are using public transportation, take a local bus service to the nearest stop in Aurora, IA. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile on H7R9+FH towards the Bird Observation Blind. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the blind, which will be located on your left.
