From Backbone State Park, head southeast on Backbone Road toward the park exit. Continue straight until you reach Highway 13. Turn right onto Highway 13 and continue for approximately 12 miles. As you approach Edgewood, look for signs directing you to Cow Unit National Wildlife Refuge. Turn left onto 170th Street, then take another left onto B Avenue. The refuge entrance will be on your right.
