Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown Burlington, start at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Main Street. Head east on Jefferson Street for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the intersection with 4th Street. Turn left (north) onto 4th Street and walk for about 0.2 miles. After crossing the railway tracks, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right (east) onto Washington Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. Mary Darwin House will be located on your left. Look for the house number 52601.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you are near the Burlington Transit Center, take the Blue Line bus towards North Hill. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 4th Street and Washington Street stop. From there, head east on Washington Street for about 0.2 miles. Mary Darwin House will be on your left at 52601. Check the bus schedule for the latest timings.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Riverfront Trail located at the north end of downtown Burlington. Ride south along the trail, which will eventually lead you to the bike lanes on Jefferson Street. Continue straight on Jefferson Street, then turn left onto 4th Street as you approach the intersection. After crossing the railway tracks, keep going straight until you reach Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and ride for about 0.3 miles. Mary Darwin House will be on your left at 52601.
