Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Corn Belt, head south on Main Street. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach Highway 5. Turn left onto Highway 5 heading east. Follow Highway 5 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the town of Pella. In Pella, take the exit for Highway 163 West. Continue on Highway 163 for about 10 miles. You will see signs for Lake Red Rock. Take the exit and follow the signs to the lake, which is located at coordinates 41.4058934, -93.052612. Expect a travel time of about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, start at the Corn Belt Transit Center. Take Bus Route 1 towards Pella. The bus runs every hour, and the fare is $2.50. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at the Pella bus station. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Lake Red Rock, which is about 10 miles away. Taxi fares can range from $15 to $25 depending on the provider and time of day.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, biking to Lake Red Rock is an option! From the center of Corn Belt, take the bike path along Main Street heading south. After about 2 miles, connect to the county road leading to Highway 5. The ride is approximately 25 miles and should take around 2 hours. Ensure you have proper safety gear and check the weather before embarking on your journey.
