Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading northwest on Main St toward 1st St. Continue on Main St, which will turn into IA-13 N. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit toward US-52 N. Merge onto US-52 N and continue for about 30 miles. When you reach McGregor, take the exit for IA-76 W. Follow IA-76 W for about 5 miles until you arrive at Pikes Peak State Park, located at 32264 Pikes Peak Rd, McGregor, IA 52157. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle, so please have cash ready.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus to McGregor from nearby cities. Check local transit schedules for routes that serve McGregor. Once you arrive in McGregor, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Pikes Peak State Park, as it is approximately 5 miles from the town center. The taxi fare may vary, so it is advisable to confirm the fare with your driver before starting your ride.
