Once you disembark, walk a short distance south on South Shore Drive to reach the park entrance.

Start at the downtown area of Council Bluffs and head west on West Broadway Street. Turn south on South 16th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with South Shore Drive. Make a right turn onto South Shore Drive, and follow it until you reach the entrance of Lake Manawa State Park, which will be on your left.
