Once you get off the bus, walk north on E 14th St until you reach the intersection with Goode St. Turn left onto Goode St and continue walking until you reach the Bates Park Historic District located at 301-399 Goode St, which should take around 10 minutes.

If you are staying in a nearby area, such as the East Village, you can walk to Bates Park Historic District. Start by heading west on E Grand Ave towards the Des Moines River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge. Once you cross, continue straight onto E 14th St. Walk north on E 14th St until you reach Goode St. Turn left onto Goode St, and you will find the Bates Park Historic District at 301-399 Goode St. This route will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
