From the center of Winterset, head west on W Jefferson St towards 2nd St. The Covered Bridges Scenic Byway starts from this point. Follow the signs that indicate the byway route. The byway is a scenic loop that allows you to visit several historic covered bridges, including the famous Henningson Bridge and the Roseman Bridge. Be sure to have a map or use a GPS for navigation as some bridges can be off the main route.
Public Transportation to Car Rental
