From downtown Dubuque, start by taking the Jule public transit bus. Board the Route 2 bus towards Asbury. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the stop near Asbury Road and Lake Ridge Drive. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles north on Asbury Road until you reach Sundown Mountain Resort, located at 16991 Asbury Rd. Look for the entrance sign on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start in downtown Dubuque and follow the bike path along the Mississippi River until you reach the intersection with US-61. Continue on US-61 North for about 3 miles until you reach the exit for Asbury Road. Turn onto Asbury Road and continue for about 2 miles, where you will find Sundown Mountain Resort on your left at 16991 Asbury Rd. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.

For those who enjoy walking, begin at the Dubuque Museum of Art. Head west on 12th Street until you reach Central Avenue. Turn right on Central Avenue and follow it until you reach Asbury Road. Turn left onto Asbury Road and continue walking for approximately 2.5 miles. Sundown Mountain Resort will be on your right at 16991 Asbury Rd. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay aware of traffic.
