If you're starting from downtown Iowa City, head north on S Dubuque St towards E Washington St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Court St. Turn left onto E Court St and walk for approximately 0.3 miles. After crossing the Iowa River, keep walking straight until you reach the Iowa River Corridor Trail. Once on the trail, follow the path westward. The World's Largest Wooden Nickel will be on your right at 3246-3248 Iowa River Corridor Trail, directly off the trail.

If you have a bike, start at downtown Iowa City and head north on S Dubuque St. Continue straight, then turn left onto E Court St. After crossing the Iowa River, turn right to join the Iowa River Corridor Trail. Follow the trail westward for about 1 mile; the World's Largest Wooden Nickel will be on your right side at 3246-3248 Iowa River Corridor Trail. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the riverside views.
