Walk straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will come to the Iowa River Corridor Trail. Follow the trail heading west along the riverbank for approximately 1 mile. The World's Largest Wooden Nickel will be on your left at 3246-3248 Iowa River Corridor Trail.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Iowa City. Start at the Pedestrian Mall, and bike toward the Iowa River Corridor Trail entrance at the corner of South Clinton Street and East Burlington Street. Once you are on the trail, follow it west along the river for about 1 mile. Look for the World's Largest Wooden Nickel on your left at 3246-3248 Iowa River Corridor Trail. The bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.
