Walking
If you are starting from downtown Muscatine, head west on 2nd Street towards Iowa Avenue. Continue walking straight until you reach Iowa Avenue, and then turn right. Follow Iowa Avenue until it turns into Hogback Road. Continue on Hogback Road until you reach Lombard Street. Turn left onto Lombard Street, and you will find the Mark Twain Overlook on your right.
Biking
From downtown Muscatine, take the bike lanes along 2nd Street heading west. Turn right onto Iowa Avenue, which will lead you onto Hogback Road. Follow Hogback Road until you reach Lombard Street. Turn left on Lombard Street, and the Mark Twain Overlook will be on your right side. This route is approximately 1.5 miles and is bike-friendly.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Catch the Muscatine Transit bus at the nearest bus stop in downtown Muscatine. You will want to take the bus that heads towards the Muscatine Community College. Once you reach the stop near the college, get off and walk north towards Hogback Road. Continue walking along Hogback Road until you reach Lombard Street. Turn left onto Lombard Street, and you will find the Mark Twain Overlook shortly on your right.
