If you are starting from the Newton Public Library located at 1000 Adams Street, head east on Adams Street towards 10th Avenue. After about two blocks, turn left onto 10th Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection of 10th Avenue and East 1st Street. From there, turn right onto East 1st Street and walk straight for another 0.3 miles. Central Square is located at the corner of East 1st Street and 10th Avenue; you will easily spot it.

If you prefer to bike, start at the Newton YMCA located at 1701 S 1st Ave. Exit the YMCA parking lot and turn left onto S 1st Ave. Bike north for about 0.4 miles until you reach East 4th Street. Turn right onto East 4th Street and continue for another 0.6 miles. You will arrive at the intersection with 10th Avenue, where Central Square is located. The bike paths along the way are clearly marked to ensure a safe ride.
