If you're near the Waterloo area, take US-20 W to US-65 S. Continue south on US-65 S until you reach the exit for I-80 W. Merge onto I-80 W and follow the signs for Des Moines. Once you get to Des Moines, take I-235 N and then exit onto I-80 W again for a short distance. Take exit 142B for US-169 N toward Ankeny/Polk City. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 90 toward Polk City. Turn right onto NW 125th Ave, and continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach Big Creek State Park at 8794 NW 125th Ave, Polk City, IA 50226.
