From the center of Waterloo, Iowa, head north on US-63 N for approximately 3 miles. Take the exit toward Wyth Rd. Merge onto Wyth Rd and continue for about 1 mile. George Wyth State Park will be on your right at 3659 Wyth Rd, Waterloo, IA 50703. The park has ample parking available.

If you are using public transportation, take the Black Hawk County Transit (BHC Transit) bus service from downtown Waterloo. You will want to catch the route that goes towards the Wyth Road area. Be sure to check the latest schedule on the BHC Transit website as routes and times may vary. Once you reach the nearest stop, you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes north to reach the park entrance on Wyth Rd.

If you are staying in the nearby neighborhoods of Waterloo, you can walk to George Wyth State Park. From downtown Waterloo, head west on 4th St. Turn left onto W 17th St and continue until you reach Wyth Rd. Turn right on Wyth Rd and follow it north until you arrive at the park entrance.

For those who prefer biking, you can ride along the Cedar Valley Bike Trail, which connects to the park. From Waterloo, head towards the Cedar Valley Trail entrance. Follow the trail south and then take the exit that leads to Wyth Rd. The park entrance will be on your left.
