Cone Park is a 35-acre recreational area in Sioux City, Iowa, designed for year-round family fun. In winter, it transforms into a snowy wonderland with a 700-foot tubing hill and an ice-skating rink. A carpet lift carries tubers to the top of the hill, making it easy to enjoy multiple runs. For younger children, there's a smaller Bunny Hill. During the warmer months, the ice rink converts to a free public splash pad. Cone Park also features a 2-mile trail loop connecting to Sertoma Park, perfect for walking and biking. The newest addition is a mountain bike park with 10.5 miles of soft-surface trails suitable for all skill levels, including tot tracks, pump tracks, and jump lines. Bike rentals and a lift pass for the 500-foot carpet lift are available. The Cone Park Lodge offers a place to warm up in the winter and concessions year-round. Special events like Cone-Acopia Fall Fest and All-Abilities Day add to the park's appeal. Cone Park strives to be accessible to everyone. It was developed by the City of Sioux City to provide diverse recreational opportunities for the community.
