To reach the Roseman Covered Bridge from Winterset, head southwest on Elderberry Avenue for approximately 2 miles. Parking is available on-site. Note that the final stretch involves driving on gravel roads. From I-92, you can turn onto Roseman Bridge Road from I-92 to Elderberry; it’s 4.3 miles of gravel. To drive on less gravel, keep on I-92 to Elmwood Ave, and it's only 2.2 miles of gravel. There are no tolls or parking fees.
