The winery's history began in 2000 as a retirement hobby for Roger and Connie Halvorson. Their son, Jay, joined in 2003 as the master winemaker, and his wife Cindy joined in 2009. In 2022, Jay and Cindy retired and sold the winery to Scott and Sharon Patten. The winery has garnered over 400 medals and awards, including the Governor's Cup and Best of Show at the 2022 Iowa State Fair for their wine, Constance. Eagles Landing Winery is located in downtown Marquette. Visitors can relax inside or enjoy the outdoor wine garden. The winery also has a pizza restaurant that offers a menu filled with delicious, artisanal pizzas made with fresh ingredients, perfectly pairing with the winery's offerings.
