    From any location within Yellow River State Forest, head south towards IA-76 S. Follow IA-76 S for approximately 7 miles until you reach the intersection with US-18 W. Turn left onto US-18 W. Continue on US-18 W for about 6 miles until you reach the town of McGregor. Once in McGregor, look for Pikes Peak Road and turn right. Follow Pikes Peak Road for about 3 miles until you arrive at Pikes Peak State Park located at 32264 Pikes Peak Rd, McGregor, IA 52157.
