If you are near the Basra International Hotel, walk south on Al-Firdous Street towards the river. After about 800 meters, turn left onto Al-Quds Street. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Dinar Square on your right, just past the Iraqi Army Memorial. Walking is a common way to get around the city.
