If you are driving from the center of Choman, start by heading south on the main road (the Qal'at Choman Road). Follow this road for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork to continue on the main road towards Mamur Mountain. After another 2 kilometers, you will see signage indicating the direction to Mamur Mountain. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you arrive at the base of the mountain. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Mamur Mountain using public transportation, head to the central bus station in Choman. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Erbil. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Mamur Mountain, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. This journey typically costs around 1,000 IQD. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the base of the mountain as public transport does not go directly to the site.
