Walking
Azadî Park is centrally located in Sulaymaniyah and easily accessible on foot from many points in the city center. From the Sulaymaniyah Museum, walk east along Salim Street, then turn right onto Bakhtiyari Street. Continue south until you reach Shireen Street, where the park is located. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no entrance fees or tolls for accessing the park.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Sulaymaniyah. Simply hail a taxi from any location in the city and ask to be taken to Azadî Park on Shireen Street. Ensure the driver knows the location, as there are other parks in the city. A short taxi ride within the city center should cost approximately 4,000 to 5,000 Iraqi dinars (approximately $3 to $4 USD). It's advisable to agree on the fare before starting the ride. Taxis primarily accept cash in Iraqi dinars.
