If you are driving from Erbil city center, head north on the Salahaddin Road (also known as the Erbil-Shaqlawa Road). Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout to stay on this road. After approximately 8 kilometers, you will see signs for Shaqlawa. Turn right and continue on this road for another 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Shaqlawa.
