Shaqlawa: A Hillside Haven

Shaqlawa, a city of approximately 25,500 people, is located in the Erbil Governorate of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Situated 51 km northeast of Erbil, it lies at the bottom of Safeen Mountain, between Safeen and Sork mountains, at an elevation of 1066 m above sea level.
