If you're starting from the Erbil Citadel, head south on 100 Street towards the intersection with 40 Street. Turn left onto 40 Street and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with 60 Street. Turn right onto 60 Street and walk for another 500 meters. Then, take a left onto Sheikh Joli Street. Bakhi Shar Park will be on your left, just a short walk after the turn.

From Erbil City Center, find a local bus heading towards the Municipality One area. You can catch a bus from the major bus station near the Erbil Citadel. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Sheikh Joli Street. The bus will take you close to the park; once you disembark, walk about 200 meters down Sheikh Joli Street, and you will find Bakhi Shar Park on the left. Bus fares are generally inexpensive in Erbil.
