Walking
From the Erbil Citadel, walk southeast towards the city center. The Clock Tower is located in the Sheikh Joli area, approximately a 10-15 minute walk. As you walk, you'll pass local shops and cafes, offering a glimpse into daily life in Erbil. The Clock Tower (Tawerî Katjmêr) will be on your left in the Sheikh Joli area.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Erbil. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to the Clock Tower typically costs between 3,000 to 7,000 Iraqi Dinars. Be sure to agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. There are generally two types of taxis in the cities. Some are painted orange and white, while others are painted a light tan colour. The light tan taxis are driven by government vetted drivers, and they are considered to be safest—these cars are usually newer and cleaner also.
