Public Transport
To reach Erbil Zoo via public transport from Erbil city center, take a minibus or taxi towards Kasnazan. Minibuses are commonly marked for Kasnazan. The minibus fare is approximately 1,000-2,000 IQD. Inform the driver that you want to go to Erbil Zoo and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, it is a short walk to the zoo entrance.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Erbil. A taxi ride from Erbil city center to Erbil Zoo should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the fare before getting in, but it should generally cost around 5,000 to 10,000 IQD.
Car
If driving from Erbil city center, head towards 30 Meter Street and follow the signs for Kasnazan. Continue on the main road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the Erbil Zoo sign on the right side. Turn onto the Unnamed Road, where you will find the entrance to the zoo. Parking is available near the entrance and is free.
