Walking
From the center of Mosul, head towards the riverbank where the Tigris River flows. Look for Al-Mahatta Street and walk north. You will reach a large intersection where you can see the Mosul Museum on your left. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Al-Jawharah Street. Take the second exit onto Al-Jawharah Street and keep walking for about 10 minutes until you see Park Al-Muthana on your right. The park's entrance is marked with a sign and is opposite a small market.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Mosul, take bus number 5, which heads towards The Left Coast. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Park Al-Muthana. The ride typically takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk a short distance back toward the park entrance at the address 95G7+5HQ. The park should be visible from the bus stop. A one-way bus ticket costs approximately 525 IQD (0.40 USD).
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Mosul. A taxi ride from the city center to Park Al-Muthana will cost approximately 2,900 IQD (2.30 USD) as a starting price, plus 2,700 IQD (2.10 USD) per kilometer. The final fare depends on the distance, but a short trip should be relatively inexpensive.
