From the city center (Shari Naw), head northwest, passing the Sulaymaniyah Museum. Continue to Shari Tahrir and turn left, walking approximately 1 kilometer. Look for signs indicating the path to Goizha Mountain, which will turn into a hiking trail. The hike to the summit takes about 30-45 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
From the central bus station in Sulaymaniyah, take a minibus heading towards the Goizha area. Ask the driver or locals to confirm the route. The minibus will drop you off at the base of the mountain, from where you can hike to the top. The fare is typically around 500 IQD.

Taxis are readily available throughout Sulaymaniyah. A taxi ride from the city center to the base of Goizha Mountain will cost approximately 7,000-16,214 IQD. Ensure the driver knows the destination. From the drop-off point, follow the hiking trail to the summit.
