However, historical research suggests the tomb is dedicated to Zumurrud Khatun, the Turkish mother of the Abbasid Caliph Nasir Li-Din Allah, who died in 1202.The mausoleum showcases exquisite Islamic design, featuring intricate tile work and captivating domes that attract visitors. The tomb's architecture includes a nine-layered, cone-shaped muqarnas cover capped by a small cupola, rising from an octagonal base.
