Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head southwest from the center of Qadisiyyah towards Kufa. Follow the main road (Route 7) for approximately 30 kilometers. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of local traffic regulations.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Maytham Altammar Shrine using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Qadisiyyah to Kufa. These services regularly depart from central locations in Qadisiyyah. The fare should not exceed 1,000 IQD. Once you arrive at Kufa, ask locals for directions to the shrine, as it is a well-known landmark. The shrine is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main bus station in Kufa.
