    From Sulaymaniyah's city center (Midan Square), head north on Salim Street until you reach Azmar Street. Turn left and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Azmar Mountain. The well-marked path will lead you to the base, about a 30-minute walk. No costs involved.

  • Public Transport

    From Sulaymaniyah city center, take a local minibus or shared taxi towards Azmar Mountain. Ask the driver to drop you off near Azmar Street (HFQV+P2W). The ride takes about 15-20 minutes. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer north on Azmar Street to the mountain base. The minibus fare is approximately 1,000 IQD.

  • Taxi

    Hire a taxi from anywhere in Sulaymaniyah. Negotiate the fare in advance, typically costing between 15,000 to 25,000 IQD, depending on your location and taxi service. The ride should take about 30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off at the base of Azmar Mountain.
