From the city center of Sulaymaniyah, begin at the main square (Midan). Head north on Salim Street until you reach Azmar Street. Turn left onto Azmar Street and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Azmar Mountain. After about 30 minutes of walking, you'll reach the base of Azmar Mountain. The path is well-marked, guiding you to the summit.

Take a local minibus from Sulaymaniyah city center towards the mountain areas. Minibuses labeled for 'جبل أزمر' (Jabal Azmar) are available near the main bus station (Sulaimani Bus Station). Arriving at the mountain's base, a short walk will lead you to the main trailhead.
