    Car

    From Dohuk city center, head east on the main road (Duhok - Zakho Road). Drive for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Duhok - Zaxo Road. Take a left turn here and continue driving for another 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Jabal Karah and take the right turn onto the unpaved road leading directly to the mountain. It is advised to have a 4WD vehicle as the road can be rough. Once you reach the base of Jabal Karah, you can park your vehicle in the designated parking area.

    Begin by taking a local minibus (called a 'service') from the Dohuk city center to Zakho. Minibuses leave frequently, and the fare is typically around 1,000 IQD. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jabal Karah, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, you may need to hire a taxi to take you the remaining distance to the base of the mountain, which should cost approximately 5,000 IQD. Confirm the fare with the taxi driver before starting your journey.
