    Take Bus Éireann route 450 from Westport or Achill Sound to Dugort. From the Dugort bus stop, it's approximately a 4-minute walk to Achill Island Alpacas. Follow the road west towards Golden Strand. As of 2023, a single adult fare on Bus Éireann from Westport to Dugort is approximately €10-€15. Please check the Bus Éireann website for the most up-to-date schedules and fares.

  • Taxi

    From anywhere on Achill Island, a taxi can take you to Achill Island Alpacas near Golden Strand in Dugort. A taxi from Keel to Dugort is approximately €13-€16 and takes about 8 minutes. Taxi services are available on Achill Island but may require advance booking.

  • Driving

    From Achill Sound, follow the R319 to Achill Island. Continue towards Dugort village. As you approach Dugort, follow the signs for Golden Strand. There is a car park available at the beach. Parking is paid, though spaces are limited. During busy summer weekends, the lots can fill early, prompting some visitors to seek street parking or alternative lots a short distance away.
