Driving
From Achill Sound, head west on the N59, then take the R319 towards Dooega. Continue on the R319 until you reach the junction for Minaun Cliffs. Follow the signs for Minaun; the drive is approximately 30 minutes. There is a free car park at the top. Be aware that the road to the top is narrow and steep.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Achill Sound to Dooega. Check local bus schedules in advance as services may be limited. From Dooega, it is approximately a 20-30 minute walk to Minaun Cliffs. Follow the road signs towards the cliffs. A single bus fare from Achill Sound to Dooega typically costs €3-€5.
Walking
If starting from Dooega, walk southwest on local roads, following signs for Minaun Cliffs. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) and takes about 30-40 minutes. Be prepared for some uneven terrain.
