Walking
If you are starting from the Athlone town center, head south towards Church Street. Continue along Church Street until you reach the junction with the R362. Turn right onto the R362 and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a small park on your left. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N55 (Ballymahon Road). Continue along this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Edgeworthstown. The Maria Edgeworth Centre will be on your left at Ballymahon Rd, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford, N39 E3C8.
