Driving
From Kenmare, take the N71 road towards Glengarriff. Continue until the R572 junction, turning left. Follow the R572 to the R573 junction, then turn right. Continue for approximately 5km; Bamboo Park (Páirc Bambú) will be signposted on your left in Reenmeen East. Parking is available on-site. Expect a 30-40 minute drive from Kenmare.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Bantry or Kenmare to Castletownbere. From Castletownbere, taxis are available to take you to Bamboo Park, a ride of approximately 15-20 minutes. Bus fare from Bantry to Castletownbere is about €8-€12. A taxi from Castletownbere to the park will cost approximately €15-€20.
Walking
If staying in Reenmeen East or nearby, walking to Bamboo Park is a pleasant option. Be mindful of local roads, as they may lack pedestrian walkways. Follow the signs for Bamboo Park.
